Triaxial Non Crimp Fabrics (NCF) in carbon fiber, are made up of layers with parallel fibres laid in 3 orientations, stitched with texturized polyester yarn. The most commonly used Triaxial Non Crimp Fabrics (NCF) are oriented at 0º ±45º or +45º 90º-45º. The layers of 0º and 90º can be placed on the outer surface, or between the ±45º layers. It’s also possible to have ±30º or ±60º on request. The longitudinal direction of 0° is always the direction of the length of the roll and the stitching direction.
Triaxial Non Crimp Fabrics (NCF) are produced in a standard width from 1270mm to 2540 mm and, or they can be cut in tapes without the fibres fall apart. Currently the know-how developed over the years has allowed the production of a range of Triaxial Non Crimp Fabrics (NCF) ranging from 225 g/m² to 900 g/m².
